Culture Ireland is the state agency for the promotion of Irish arts worldwide, working under the aegis of the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport.
Culture Ireland creates and supports opportunities for Irish artists to present their work at strategic international festivals, venues, showcases and arts markets.
The agency comprises a board appointed by the Minister and an executive staff led by Eugene Downes, the Chief Executive.

Culture Ireland announces grant awards and strategic focus on United States in 2011
Culture Ireland awarded in excess of €430,000 to over 70 projects which will see Irish artists present work in 26 countries, across 5 continents. Culture Ireland also confirmed a strategic focus on the US in 2011, applications to be submitted by 5pm Monday 16 August. Read more.
Culture Ireland announces Edinburgh Festivals Showcase
Culture Ireland will lead one of the largest delegations of Irish artists to Edinburgh this August, to present work at three of the world’s most important international festivals.
Ireland's participation at the 12th International Architecture Exhibition
of de Blacam and Meagher is the title of Ireland's exhibition at the International Architecture Exhibition which will open in Venice on 27 August next. The exhibition is commissioned by the Irish Architecture Foundation.

We have revised the application forms for use when applying to Culture Ireland for funding, either under our quarterly grants scheme or the See Here fund.
We have also refreshed our logo to include our new strapline: promoting Irish arts worldwide.
